Save Some Moolah
Did you know?
In Britain it's lucky for a chimney sweep to come to the wedding and kiss the bride.
The tradition stems from when King George III reigned. The King's horses ran out of control and a chimney sweep stepped in to save him. The King proclaimed, by Royal Decree, all sweeps were good luck bearers and should be treated with respect. Chimney sweeps are also linked with early pagan wedding rituals where the colour black symbolises fertility.
We do the same here in America only with the milkman....

Thank you so much for the how much to give calculator, it was the coolest thing i have ever encountered. It definatly helped my figure out how much to give for a co-workers wedding i was invited to and wasn't sure how much to put out. I always hated asking someone because i thought of it as a idiot question and im sure there are lots more like me out there. I will definatley recommed this site to all my friends.
Thanks,

Just wanted to say great job with the gift calculator, I can't even count the number of times I have overheard people talking about who gave what or how much they should of gave. Now there is a site like this that takes all the hassel and worry out. Thanks again!
